Grooming Information

Founded in 2002 I have almost 20 years’ experience grooming dogs. I am happy to discuss whatever grooming requirements you have and what type of cut you would like, which depends on coat condition and temperament. While my focus is the pet dog, I also produce show quality results for clients who wish to compete in breed shows.

Grooming for large dogs with unpredictable double coats which vary with seasons will be calculated by time spent on each groom. This accounts to for the variation in price for the same dog breed, where individual coats may differ considerably.

I have recently ungraded my equipment to allow me to efficiently groom larger dogs. This includes a powerful master plaster (extra powerful hairdryer for dogs) which is unique in its ability to remove the densest undercoat quickly and painlessly, along with having a top of the range height adjustable bath. Large dogs can simply hop in and the height can be adjusted to a comfortable working level. The porous flood means water drains away immediately and it can also be used as a drying station.

I have two grooming stations. One for smaller dogs, a small circular table that allows me to move around the dog easily, ensuring safe and top-quality finishes. I also have a large dog finishing area with height adjustable functions allowing for easy access for the dog and secure, safe working height for me.

Other things to note:

  • I can safely allow access to adjoining garden if dogs need to relieve themselves.
  • Early drop-off or late collection can be accommodated by prior arrangement.
  • Multiple dogs from same households can be accommodated.
  • I am only groomer and sole staff member so you can be assured I am the only person handling your dog.
  • My experience as a trainer allows me to recognize signs of stress & fear, allowing me to tailor the groom according to minimize stress for the dog.
  • Each dog gets comfy bed (unless confirmed pee-er!) and are kept safe and warm during their stay.
  • I give discounts for regular clients and clients with multiple dogs.
  • Free nail/face/bum clips between grooms for regular clients.
  • You can be assured your dog will receive expert, kind, professional care during their visit.
